Is there a connection between morality and calamity? Most living creatures including plants if be
given a chance to inquire to Mother
Nature wonder how to avoid calamity or natural disasters. One anonymous author claimed that there is an
indirect correlation between moral
issues and natural phenomena. Hence it is the writer’s purpose to discuss
this connection or correlation by attempting to identify and discuss the most
common or abominable acts against morality which he believes contributed to the
rage and wrath of nature to react with such unparalleled havocs and
destructions around the world.
The three most common acts of immorality are adultery, theft and lying which
are practised not only in smaller villages but in almost each office and
institution that humans are known to be in.
It is very difficult for the adulterers, thieves and liars to accept their ‘daily faults’
since they have committed the greater sins unless they believe in God and
express their faith to repent of those serious and abominable acts by
confessing their sins to their respective offended beings (i.e. spouses for adulterers, neighbours or fellowmen for thieves and liars) and unto God Himself. Except they
do this they will never acknowledge of their wrongs for these are trivial to
them compared to what they previously committed. So, it is in their utmost dispositions to
deny of any wrongdoing and to maintain their self-proclaimed innocence before
men until it is too late to face the Eternal
Judge of all and be condemned of Him
and thereby receive their final judgement and be destined to go to that place
which is prepared for Satan and his angels.
In a professional level, liars will always find
themselves clean before their officemates or fellow workers whom they try to
please for their secret weapon of denying all that may direct to their faults
is as sharp as their lying tongues and teeth.
They will always get the approbation of those who are mostly benefited
from their lies.
Similarly the thieves can always find satisfaction from
their hidden motives and acts. They will
always be the first ones to accuse the most innocent men and women of their
choice and will present some illogical reasons for such accusations before
their victims who unfortunately believed their tale. Interestingly enough, they
found pleasure in knowing the innocent to suffer the indifference of those who
believe in their myths and continue to enjoy the relief of not being
caught.
The adulterers however have their own world of temporary
happiness after and while committing their daily lusts and rituals. They will always maintain their cordial
dispositions and sheepish approaches to men and women in their workplace so as
to gain more favour in their eyes for they are men pleasers and love the
praises of this world. This is why it is
not easy to believe that they can do or capable of doing such and such
abominations. They will continue to
fortify their good reputation by even preaching some values to the world and to
their supporters with precision and style which seemed to increase their
popularity in the eyes of their supporters who look them up with an awe and
complete respect and as if these values can save them or their abominable acts.
The bad news is that the truth can never be deceived
neither the truth lovers nor seekers.
Just as the sun always rises from the East then sets on the West the
truth doesn't change simply because these three acts of abominations existed or
may continue to exist however these offenders built up excuses to let them go
of the consequences thereof. Consequences will surely follow their
filthy acts if not corrected immediately.
They may come sooner or later and sometimes may seem delayed for a long
time but ultimately they will come. The
problem with these offenders is that they are all keepers of the so-called 11th
Commandment: Thou shalt not be caught. So,
unless they are caught in the act of doing their respective favourite routines
of calculated errors they would never stop nor admit. This act of keeping a wrong commandment is
amazingly became their habits and they will do everything to obey it. As a result they are in the process of mocking
the truth which emanates from the bosom
of God. In other words, mocking
truth is like mocking God but God cannot
be mocked otherwise nature will
react to its fullest power to defend its Creator. It uses all its elements and surprisingly including all the atoms which resided within the flesh
and blood of those offenders which they started to destroy. Hence, natural disasters of all sorts are
evident in the past, today and the days ahead until these types of offenders
will repent and turn to God whom they mocked.
To the guilty these maybe just pigments of a writer’s
view of real connections of morality and calamity as they supposed it is, yet
it doesn’t matter. What matters is that
most of these ideas are true and the minds of those who love truth can feel
the effects thereof particularly
if the truth is truly in them. Conscience,
however blur it maybe to anyone guilty of these immoral acts is another ally of
nature which is always ready to attest to the truth and nothing but the truth
of all things.
The final test of these things can be traced from the
history of those destroyed and lost civilisations since the creation or
existence of humans. For instance, in
the ruins of ‘Pompeii,’ Archaeologists were shocked to discover the inhabitants
and the places where they found to be in ‘sinful acts’ as their frames were
wrapped with sands. Those who want to
confirm this and other destructions of lost civilisations, they can search for
more and can find out for themselves that they may know the truth and as the
good book says ‘the truth shall set them free.’
